Future environmental effects and safety challenges for the automotive industry
Nadine Leclair, President FISITA
Nadine Leclair began her career at Sligos as a research engineer before joining Renault in 1984 as a CAD engineer.
She was appointed Manager of VP Body-in-white Engineering in 1999, a position she held until 2005, when she became Technical Manager (CVE) for the Mégane Range. She was appointed in 2008 Vice President, Vehicle Engineering product & production engineering functions. She became Senior Vice President, Engineering Project on June 2013. Since April 2015, Nadine Leclair was Senior Vice President and Expert Fellow. She has retired from the Renault group in mid 2020 and is now President of FISITA. -

The future of automotive global value chains
Timothy Sturgeon Petr Pavlinek MIT Industrial Performance Center Timothy Sturgeon is a Senior Research Affiliate at the Industrial Performance Center at MIT. His research focuses on the process of global integration, with an emphasis on offshoring and outsourcing practices in the electronics, automotive, and services industries. He works actively with policymakers in international development agencies, industrialized countries, and developing countries on effective policy responses to global integration.
CUNI Department of Social Geography and Regional Development Petr Pavlínek is a professor of Geography at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Charles University. His research and publications focus on the regional development effects of foreign direct investment, with a particular interest in the development and restructuring of the European automotive industry.
