Russia above oil: cars and appropriate finance

Abstract:

The car market in Russia is said to be one of the most, if not the most promising in Europe. On the other side, if you look at it with traditional Euro-spectacles, you may have the impression of a hectic roller coaster with unexpected ups before the crisis, sudden downs during the crisis and unexplained recovery after, while enduring a bureaucratic nightmare all along the way. What to believe then ? Looking at long terms fundamentals of the Economy it is possible to discern a sound potential guided by a political will and supported by a normalisation of the banking sector.
