Assembly system design regarding (among other things) alternatives to line assembly. That is unorthodox assembly systems with extreme work cycle times, advanced materials feeding technique and pre-structured information and materials featuring small parallel workgroups. Like the sole international unique Volvo Automobile Uddevalla plant as well as the Assembly docks within the Volvo Truck plant in Tuve (Gothenburg).

Secondary subjects

Sociotechnical design methods etc. in an engineering wise manners (ergonomics, manufacturing engineering, psychology, sociology etc. i.e. multi-disciplinary aspect of any shop floor work). Have during the last five years been transferring our already developed methods (applied for the automotive and manufacturing sector for more that forty years) to the Swedish health-care sector.
